When you have decided you want a certain chameleon on our site, start by simply E-Mailing us or calling to say what you're interested in. A shipping date will be decided, and payments will need to be made before a chameleon is shipped out, either by PayPal (preferred), calling in with a credit card number, or a money order sent promptly. The money order will also need to be cleared prior to any chameleons shipping out. If sending a personal check, as with a MO, the animal will be held until the check clears (it can take up to a week, no exceptions). Chameleons are rarely shipped the same day they're purchased (my schedule doesn't usually allow me to pull that off), and are only shipped the following day if they are paid for the previous night and you have verified you'll be available to accept delivery. Feel free to ask if you have any questions and I'll get back to you promptly. Chameleons are packed in an insulated box with heat or cold packs as needed. Shipping typically costs around $50 to UPS for each shipment. I pay for the boxes, packing material, ice or heat packs etc from my own pocket. When shipped, chameleons leave here in the mid-day (Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday only), and arrive at your door the next morning, usually before 10:30AM. I have an excellent track record with shipping live animals, and shipping worries should not be a reason you don't buy a chameleon from us. The entire process of shipping can be as short as 18 hours. A tracking number will be sent to you via E-Mail typically the night before shipping and once the chameleon is scanned in by UPS, you can follow the progress of the shipment on UPS.com. Upon arrival, you will need to be there to sign and accept the delivery for any guarantee to take effect. The temperatures will also need to be within a range from 35°-90° lows to highs for a live arrival and 5 day guarantee, and the chameleon will need to be housed and kept properly for the guarantee to apply. We will send you a healthy chameleon, but any chameleon not kept in reasonable conditions can decline in health or die within 5 days. Have the chameleon's cage and lighting set up already (read below), and give him or her some quiet time alone. We guarantee every chameleon's health for 5 days from the date of shipping out (read below). In that time, they will eat and be active. It is your responsibility to make sure you are ready to purchase a chameleon, and your responsibility to have a proper setup ready when he or she arrives. We cannot possibly "scan" every customer we sell to, and this website offers more than enough information to keep a chameleon alive and well. If there is any hint of a problem, let us know. Customers that notice a problem for days and don't say anything give me little room to try and help. Often some chameleons will be dark brown the first few days while adjusting to their new home, but once they know they are safe and settle in, they'll brighten up. A chameleon that is dark or hiding often is not a health matter on first arrival of shipping. It's very common for them to be dark for a week or more while adjusting. The lower the stress of a new home is, the sooner they'll brighten up. We have tried to make shipping as simple as possible. While it does create some stress, I don't think shipping is any more stressful than it would be to have a chameleon in a box in the car on the way home from a pet store. They are in the dark, and sleep most or all of the way from me to you. Most reptile stores or exotic pet stores won't even guarantee chameleons after you walk out the door. We ship with UPS simply because of their track record with being on time more often than any other company. They charge more, but I sleep better at night knowing I'm using the best possible company for the job. Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions about shipping, and we'll get back to you promptly. In the rare event of a DOA or an animal loss within the 5 day guarantee period, a replacement or refund will be given. I will decide whether a replacement or a refund is offered, depending on the situation and availability of a replacement animal. I will need proof of the animal's death, proof or proper care (according to my website), and will check to see that the package was signed for on arrival. Any and all shipping charges are non refundable, as they would be with any other breeder. With any return shipments, shipping is to be paid for by the customer. We cannot guarantee the sex of a baby panther chameleon. We are good at it, but mistakes can happen. The older an animal is, the more accurate we can be. Veileds are 100% sexable upon hatching, and sex is guaranteed on veiled chameleons. All animals being offered for sale are captive bred and born (CBB). Imported (WC) or captive hatched (CH) animals, if ever offered, will be CLEARLY labeled as such. Panther chameleons are not sold before 3 months of age, or under 2" snout to vent length. Any animal under 3 months old is not far enough along to guarantee it's health and hardy enough to be moved into a new environment. This also offers us enough time to make a more accurate determination of the sex. We will provide a basic care sheet with every animal if requested, and this website will offer more detailed information. All chameleons sold at reptile shows or conventions are NOT guaranteed. Cages we ship are guaranteed to arrive in good, useable condition. If a cage is damaged in shipping, we must be notified within 24 hours of it's arrival with PHOTOS, so that we know the damage did indeed, happen during transit. Assuming the above is met, we can re-ship panels that are damaged (for minor, one or two panel damage), or we can ship you a new after the return and inspection of the damaged cage. We cannot possibly know that a cage was damaged during transit if we receive photos after 24 hours of it's arrival. All prices are firm, and will not be negotiated.Captive bred chameleons from us can be assumed to be parasite free. Wild caught chameleons from us should not be assumed to be completely parasite free. We almost always do a realistic amount of parasite work on them in the time they're with us, but certain parasites that come in with wild caught chameleons are very hard to get rid of completely. All chameleons can be held up to one week from date of full payment. We do not take deposits, partial payments, or do payment plans. We reserve the right to refuse a sale to anyone, for any reason, at our discretion. This includes someone we do not feel is ready to commit to daily chameleon care. All sales are final and there are no refunds for impulse purchases.
